There was a 
great crowd marching against Trident in London last Saturday and Trafalgar Square was friendly, loud and colourful as speeches were delivered. However about an hour after it was over Westminster Council has managed to remove all trace of us……. except for the home made placard hung beautifully over a mermaid in the middle of the fountain. A certain Trident Ploughshares member from North of the Border has braved the cold water to make our message “Trident No More” last a little longer. Well done CND and well done that man!
