The Muriel Lesters Affinity Group and friends made their seasonal visit to the offices of Lockheed Martin in London on Monday Dec 4th.
October 2017: Coulport Blockaders Admonished as Ban Treaty used in Court for 1st Time
Three anti-nuclear weapon campaigners were today admonished by a Scottish court after taking part during the summer in a blockade of RNAD Coulport, where the UK’s nuclear warheads are stored and loaded onto Trident submarines.
September 2017: No Nuclear Day Stops The Arms Fair
The week of action against the DSEI arms fair continued on Wed 6th September with some really good blockades of equipment going into the Excel Centre in London by groups working together for a NO NUCLEAR day.
July 2017: Angie Zelter & Brian Quail Out of Jail!
Following two weeks of incarceration nuclear disarmament campaigners Angie Zelter and Brian Quail were freed after the Procurator Fiscal dramatically reversed course and dropped the request for restrictive bail conditions without explanation.
July 2017: One Week Coulport Disarmament Camp: During the two week disarmament camp at Coulport there were two Blockades, One Hundred activists, singing in the Ban Treaty, and numerous small acts of resistance. Campaigners joined the camp from several European countries and all parts of the UK. Two nuclear resisters, Angie Zelter and Brian Quail were jailed for two weeks before being released on bail, and later admonihed after being found guilty of blocking the highway.
March April May 2016: Town Criers: In the run up to the conference at the UN that agreed the nuclear weapons Ban Treaty TP activists dressed as Town Criers and proclaimed the good news around the country.
