Video of our action in House of Commons

When the Government called a vote on replacing the four British Trident submarines in July last year Trident Ploughshares activists visited the Central Lobby and sang throughout the debate – over six hours!! Although no filming or photography was allowed we managed to get these snippets.

Many MP’s stopped to talk to us and we were told that from time to time we could be heard in the chamber.  Although they decided to build new submarines it was important to be there showing our resistance.

Today we heard how the Prime Minister knew that a Trident missile test fired from HMS Vengeance had failed in June but had not informed the House of Commons during the debate.
